May 2011: Dr. Mario Cameron, Managing Director of Epyxs, was invited to present at FITT
conference "ICT Innovations: Research > Business > Society" in Brussels the Epyxs case
within the conference session "Turning Science into Business: From Research to Market".

Sep 2009: The innovation contest "Future ready with IT" - an initiative of the Media and Film Society of Baden-Württemberg – awarded Epyxs as one of the winners. The company received coaching from Fraunhofer ISI to implement a strategic foresight process in order to secure its long-term success.

Jan 2008: The Heidelberg Innovation Forum – an initiative of the Media and Film Society of Baden-Württemberg and the European Media Lab – considers Epyxs in its Yearly Overview 2007 as the most successful science-to-business transfer among all projects presented.

Dec 2007: The initiative Germany Land of Ideas of the Federal German Government selected Epyxs as one of the Landmarks in the Land of Ideas for the year 2008. As a reason they mentioned that Epyxs' technologies are original, future-oriented, trend-setting, and committed to the common welfare.

Sep 2007: Dr. Mario Cameron, Managing Director of Epyxs, achieved the first place at the Founder Initiative of Financial Times Germany and received 50 kEUR as prize in cash. 673 founders from Germany, Austria and Switzerland participated in Gemany's largest startup contest.

Jun 2007: With the poster Anti-counterfeit Protection for Automotive Spares, Epyxs was selected as one of the winners among 150 participants of the innovation contest of Network of Automotive Excellence (NOAE) of the Wuerzburg Automotive Summit 2007.

May 2007: The O-PUR Consortium, which uses Epyxs' technologies for the development of a new generation of secure packaging and labels, was distinguished as one of the winners of the contest "Innovations against Product Piracy" of the Federal German Ministry for Education and Research. In the competition 427 companies and institutions participated in 65 consortia.

Dec 2006: As part of the High-Tech Strategy for Germany the Federal German Government started the program Research for Civil Security. Epyxs co-founder Prof. Dr. Bernhard Wirnitzer and his team at the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, belong according to a study of the Federal German Ministry for Education and Research to the leading German research groups in this field.

Jul 2005: A solution developed by Mr. Slavi Bonev, Managing Director of Epyxs, to protect
university degree certificates based on the 2D code DataGrid was distinguished with the
do-it.software award of the German Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg for outstanding
scientific achievements in the software Research.
